A feature of Trumpism that seems to deviate from classical fascism is that it‘s sometimes unclear whether its primary aim is racial oligarchy through ethnic cleansing or producing fascist „content“ to distract from the looting of the state by the hydra-headed kleptocracy spawned by neoliberalism
When this criminal was jailed, the judge told David Gentile and America: ‘This is a warning to would-be fraudsters that seeking to get rich by taking advantage of investors gets you only a one-way ticket to jail.’ I guess not

Just found out that the guy who runs the men's clothing shop in The Chair Company is in fact the actual guy who runs the actual men's clothing shop that they filmed in. They were location scouting his store and were so struck by the way he talked that they cast him variety.com/2025/tv/news...

So much of MAGA politics seems like dark Freudian family dramas.
