On my dark days, I think what a horrible mistake it was to go into higher education rather than stay at my rather nice K-12 job. Today is one of those days. I know tomorrow will be better but Jesus why did I drag my family across the country.

My uni has a full time employee whose job it is to decide what data the school of ed needs and write the report. I'm so glad she's there so all I have to do is collect and summarize for my program (using a collection process she designed to make it easier) but WE HAVE A FULL TIME PERSON to do this!!
It's hard for me to overstate how bananas the accreditation process is for colleges of education.

Should be fun for the education system try and build trust in the community and help these kids in a few years after we prosecute all the ICE-stapo. We'll surely get more education funding to catch them up and not have their mandated test scores used for privatization scams, right...RIGHT?!
