I'm better this morning. Made a rookie mistake in my first time as a thesis chair and the consensus is I'm beating myself up too much about it. Fix it, flush it, move on. Time to bake pies.

Somewhere I have a picture of my entire 7th grade band in the instrument cages. You can fit at least three kids in a tuba locker.

I only teach classes in my degree's major & the STs have been voluntarily taking notes by hand on paper (others use handwriting note apps on their tablets). I asked why and they said "I just remember things better this way." I don't know though if they are this dedicated in their GEs...

You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. So all the federal workers and SNAP recipients went through all this for nothing?? And you think the Rs are going to actually negotiate? So everyone loses because you got a few phone calls from conservative furloughed workers?
