Tried out Pokemon Lets Go Eevee
TL;DR: Obv designed to be babby's first pokeman, don't love the PoGo changes, characters talk too much, very pretty world and good remixes of gen 1 OST.
Kind of wish I had gone with LGP instead of LGE but meh. Not super fond of either choice as my main pokemon.

This thought was brought on by me kind of wanting to play a Pokemon game on my Steam Deck but not really being sure which one
I have SP but OOPS the mods only work on BD. I have LGE but I don't love the PoGo stuff. Gen 1-3 feels too primitive and 4-7 you have to deal with dual-screen shenanigans...

I really do hope Pokemon BDSP gets a full decomp or something within the next couple years
I think it's the perfect base for building a "definitive" version (not in the Rockstar sense lol) of the first ~5 gens of Pokemon for modern consoles, and it being a Unity game helps I think.

Y'know with the whole thing about the new Steam Machine likely costing more than $500... I guess its not entirely out of the ordinary these days. The Switch 2 is $450 and that's the "budget" option. It'll probably compete more with the Series X and eventual PS5 Pro.

I oughta' try out xBox 360 emulation again
Last time I tried it, I managed to get as far as doing an arcade mode race in Forza Motorsport 2 but couldn't do anything in the career mode because apparently there was no way to set up a profile for it to save to???
