I'm still on the previous gen AMD mainboard but I think I'm gonna' sit this gen out and wait for next gen because from what I've heard the spec bump isn't that much and I'll never use the AI bullshit that's crammed into the current ones lol

Either way once that shows up I'm pretty sure my laptop will be maxed out for the most part... 96 gigs of RAM, 8tb SSD... I might upgrade the screen to the 2k screen eventually after the SSD is paid off but ehhh...

For the same reason I keep telling myself I need to archive all of Matt Baume's video essays on LGBT history in pop culture. I know people will think I'm silly for it but I think those are really important and if we lose those it'd really suck.

I really need to figure out a way to try to automatically update that btw, I know there's a way... I do trust Sciggles' leadership, but what I don't trust is that the current US government isn't going to start targeting LGBT expression online at some point

This means I'll be able to chuck the 4tb in my external enclosure and maybe move some stuff onto that as well. I have a partial backup of a LOT of artists' galleries from Furaffinity for example that takes up a lot of space...

I've thought about doing like a Udemy course or something but I'm a little weary since EVERYTHING is shoe-horning AI into lessons these days lol.

Yeah, I haven't been able to grasp it so far, granted all I've tried has been a book on it. I feel like if I could get into like an online college course or something on it that might help me out a little better since that's more interactive.

I really should try that again now that I'm under my own control but I mean, 'Murrica y'know. Plus my mobility problems don't exactly make leaving the house an easy task.

I could have gotten on antidepressants in high school, I was SUPPOSED to, but I refused to take them because I was convinced my mom was trying to have me marked incapable of taking care of myself so I couldn't leave when I turned 18.

It's partially due to circumstances beyond my control but I feel like I've largely wasted my life up to this point in part thanks to untreated clinical depression and executive dysfunction.
