If you Google some horror media and all the first reddit posts it pulls up are glowing praise, then it usually sucks

Admittedly, I WAS on the fence when it comes to Kings of Hell, since I'm not big of a fan when a game is... Fanservice-driven. (Part of the reason I haven't tried Tribal Hunter)

It's not even just indies, it's basically only the biggest blockbuster triple A nightmare games that have always been chasing the lowest common denominator that extra suck currently. The people who complain about the state of modern gaming out themselves as actually being Ball & Gun gamers.
