Not the first to ask this, but what is the reputational and legal risk of regularly posting promotional images of young people that you have a duty of care towards on an app that allows creeps to automatically strip, sexualize and bloody them?
My employer, the University of Leeds, left X almost exactly a year ago. I did think then they'd be followed by some of our peer institutions but so far, no sign of a rush for the exits. Still the right thing to do.

Every arrest based on lying in these circumstances is an illegal abduction. Every agent must be prosecuted by the next federal administration. Every individual state government could do this now. Do not forget this.

yeah they’re just grabbing random people at bus stops there is absolutely no attempt to even give the pretense that this is about immigration anymore. it is absolutely just a military occupation
Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

I have been as impressed by the normal people of this country as I have been disgusted by elite institutions and every bit of optimism I have that we are going to make it comes from that
It's incredibly demoralizing to constantly see the highest institutions of government and academia and the most important and widely seen news outlets knuckle under one after another, but then to see the gulf between that and the bravery of communities and neighbors and teachers - that's something
