People say cats don’t love you but if you’ve never known the love of an animal where you’ll change the litter and the cat will immediately take a dump directly next to, but not in, the box, have you ever known love?

Rewatched One Battle After Another last night, and my husband laughed when the soldier said he needed to “go kinetic” and they ripped the gates off the front of Sensei Sergio’s place. Didn’t realize the satire would hit so close so immediately.

Barbara Stanwyck being star of the month on TCM in March really colored my viewing for the rest of the year.

The best movie of 2025, an underrated Judy film (that she sadly hated), this drugged out classic, and this sad rehash.

I was trying not to scare my husband off by being too enthusiastic about this, even though I was all “I’ll watch it with you” the second I finished it. But I just called him with this quote: “It feels like Children of Men would feel if it were written by John Milius.” That got him.

My dog got me a chewed stick for christmas. I appreciate the gesture but I wish there was a polite way to say "we don't need to get each other gifts any more." My cat got me a pipe bomb

Here’s to 2026.

Here’s to happiness beyond the atrocities that are happening right now.

Let’s all grab this new year by the balls and squeeze as hard as we can.

We can do it!

I believe in us!

Happy fucking New Year, everybody!

I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this. A primetime, long running (the longest running) sitcom made a pro-Luigi joke this week.

Trudging my way through this boring 5th season of Only Murders in the Building, and Nathan Lane’s character just said “You should have been cancelled after season two!”

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

I saw Jerry O’Connell coming out of a Duane Reade. The two friends I was with didn’t know who he was.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

A must listen. This episode is so beyond good!
NEW EPISODE: E. M. Forster was one of Britain’s most successful novelists. Raised so prudishly he went to Oxford without understanding where babies come from, Italy — & later India — represented paradises of liberation in comparison to the cramped English bourgeoisie. badgayspod.com/episode-arch...
