A couple of days late but just putting it on record that Anora is a truly horrible film and the whole production was done in a staggeringly unethical and irresponsible way and one day it will go down as one of the most yikes best picture winners ever in an era when we should have known better.

I watched Anora. It made me incredibly angry. Then I found out about the intimacy coordinator stuff and now I think I have to physically do to Sean Baker what was inflicted on Mikey Madison in a scene that multiple people on letterboxd actually consider comedic.
