For a game called UNBEATABLE they sure do seem worried people would struggle. The music and style are so incredible! And I adored the story, but progressing the scene, win or lose, kinda killed the narrative tension for me 😅 I’ll take another swing at it when that “fail retry” setting comes.

The IGAs Nomination Committee is officially retracting Debut Game and Game of the Year, awarding both categories to new recipients. Additionally, we are retracting one of the Indie Vanguard recipients.

I was at a friends house and their big brother was watching Soul Eater. Specifically, the fight between Black Star and Kid when BS is bent out of shape after loosing. Sid explaining Black Star's anxiety about loosing had me hooked. I HAD to know more!
It was Naruto. In middle school my crush on the time got me into the manga, and that got me into toonami eventually. From there it was all over

"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information
