They're smoking the same Iran Industry crack that convinced the Mossad that the Iranian Army would mutiny in the first hours of bombing (see threatening phone calls to top IRI generals) After that failed, there was no clear strategic goal of the bombing other than hoping the US would finish the job.
You already are seeing some gradual reintroduction of pre Islamic Iranian nationalism in the public sphere, and it isn't translating into talk of acquiescence to Israeli demands. I wonder what these people in DC are smoking.
