Another two chapter of my friends fic today. There's a section where she's talking about the mages Linking versus operating alone, and that the...Templars? I think? emphasized the individual pursuit of perfection *instead* of linking together, cooperating...to keep them divided and controlled.

Dandy did not appear eased. She didn't even admonish him; instead, she continued to recount the betrayal she suffered. The fellow, Aloysius, had enslaved those who performed in his circus. He used their talents as a conduit for emotion, slowly leeching the very souls out of their audience. 5/8

He used charm and guile to blind Dandy to his intentions until it was almost too late. He had not loved her, merely wanted her power for his own evil deeds.

Ran the first two Practice missions from #Battletech ACES today. Had a blast. The first game, both Clan 'Mechs were destroyed, the Marauder II was savaged, and the Flashman virtually untouched..

#Battletech ACES, mission 2 - we introduced Waypoints. And I didn't notice the Timber Wolf deployed with the Warhawk and the Nova. Still, the WH and N were up for the challenge, destroying the Wasp and putting the Wraith in forced withdrawal. The players won, but not a total victory.

Wife and I are giggle fitting as we play Hyrule Warriors. If permitted neither of us plays as Link and just have him stand somewhere and look pretty.
