Any idea why the stock market is doing so well in January, given all the uncertainty right now? I haven't been attentive to the market, but my IRA just surged 4% in the last few weeks.

Holy shit, even my moderate liberal gun control friends were like, "yeah, I guess the castle doctrine does include shooting law enforcement if they enter without a warrant" today.
If those folks are becoming radicalized, maybe there's still hope.

We don't have a problem with politics in the USA, we have a problem with partisanship and fascism. Don't let people confuse that point. Supporting civil rights has not always been a partisan issue, but it has ALWAYS been political.
