I've probably photographed Brad Lander more than any other elected in NYC because the dude shows up. He's everywhere, he's incredibly accessible, and he genuinely loves New Yorkers. You can literally go up and talk to him whenever he shows up. Go ahead, try it!

IF they were able to get a mortgage (they can’t) that’s $4954.26 a month for 30 years. A mortgage payment should be 1/4 of your income. Doing the math, you’re making $237804/year. Not including the $63k down payment.
