I just finished The Old Guard 2 (a re-watch with my mom who hadn't seen it yet) and the first thing I did was check if @thetrudz.photo reviewed on Letterboxd because I just knew all of my thoughts about that film would be perfectly summed up there and well....yes.

I don't buy the AI narrative around prosperity for all. There is plenty of money to go around yet it tends to flow to the top. I can't imagine a world where those in control of AI, assuming it actually works, will resist charging an ever increasing subscription fee cementing the haves and have nots.

The decline of third spaces and hangouts, such as malls, video rental places, arcades & skate parks has been a direct result of the rise of convenience and has also been objectively bad for society as a whole. Its not that everyone HAS to socialize, but having no option to without bars is a failing.

My experience sucked because I didn't do what I wanted to do. Just picked a school and dipped because I didn't want to be home anymore. If I had stuck to what I wanted, I would've been more successful.
