Shouldn’t any legislation for farmers be conditioned on affordable care act subsidies? Shouldn’t democrats get something for the American people if the President wants to fix the problem he created? Or am I wrong? What about something for Black farmers?

People join in voter initiatives to end citizens united in their states. If your state doesn’t have a voter initiative process, start fighting for one. figure out a way to keep your politician from trading in the stock market and prohibit them from being a lobbyist in your state for a few years

Study after study shows campaign ads barely move the needle. So where does money’s real power come from? I ranked the five ways money corrupts politics—from least to most corrosive. What I’ve learned from 15 years of tracking political money:

Voters should know that their legislators are out of control. Owned by billionaires and weird oligarchs who want to tear the people in this country a part so they can institute some weird imagined society from the 1600s. Voter initiatives, legislative recalls, on the ground organizing everywhere.

This. Democrats have just made excuse after excuse not to help working people and the marginalized when they’re in power. Do nothings.
the biggest lie in american politics, probably only second to bush lying us into iraq, has been democrats constantly telling us "we just can't..." only to watch republicans do whatever the fuck they want over and over and over. makes me sick.

Democrats need to start running local ads in all red states about job losses, small business losses, health costs, and the economy now. Start getting local people to tell their stories. Don’t wait until the midterms.

We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

The only thing that’s happened is that the very rich got a tax cut, our debt rose, and Americans are losing jobs, and unable to afford anything.

Last year, 320,000 Canadians filed bankruptcy due to their medical bills.
Oopsie, I meant Americans. The Canadian number is slightly lower: zero.
