Always with the concepts of a plan. 🙄
Q: Can you explain how your healthcare plan will affect premiums?

TRUMP: It's a tremendous thing. It's called the great healthcare plan. And we're gonna get tremendous, uh, reductions through, uh, if you look at prescription drugs, they're gonna come down by numbers that have never been seen before

For people elsewhere who have asked how to support Minnesota while we’re overrun with nazi thugs, here’s an excellent list of places that could use financial help. Lots of choices. Thank you so much!

ICE just killed a legal observer—allegedly blocking her from medical care and letting her die.

This is horrifying. ICE is a rogue agency incapable of reform. Minneapolis Mayor Frey is calling for ICE to vacate the city and I echo that call.

Called my Senators. Urged them to shut down the government on 1/30, to call for impeachment, and to refuse to cooperate with the administration's daily business.

Told Hick I don't want to see another fundraising text until he does and Bennet that I expect more than just an indignant speech.

This is a stark reason—one of several—to be very cautious here. Others: Almost everyone involved is an unreliable narrator. It’s night. It’s the new year weekend and so still a holiday time for most journalism staffing operations.

People are getting calls now, and getting to work, but be cautious.
Whatever the fuck is going on is clearly very bad and an era of fake/recirculated video making it very hard to tell what is real is making it even worse.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

If you read an amazing article from Teen Vogue about politics in the last several years, chances are that Lex McMenamin wrote it. Any publication that is serious about meeting this moment would be lucky to have them.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
