No government fights fascism to destroy it. When the bourgeoisie sees that power is slipping out of its hands, it brings up fascism to hold onto their privileges.

I am non-binary.
I am pre-op altersex (null).
I am panromantic.
I am asexual.
I am polyamorous.

What am I not?

Changing my identity, my existence, my reality for a regressive, obliviously self-destructive government.

For years we heard the narrative that the Romans brought better quality of life to the empire and I have to think this was the assumption of historians who were themselves imperialists.
NEW Did the #Romans harm our health? Analysis of skeletal remains from England before and during Roman occupation confirms theories that the population’s health declined under Roman occupation, but only in the urban centres.

NEW: For more than a century, a smelter spewed lead dust over Omaha.

For decades, the government cleaned it up.

But a shift in guidance from the Trump administration may stop thousands more from potential cleanup, exposing families to the harmful metal.

The EPA Was Considering a Massive Lead Cleanup in Omaha. Then Trump Shifted Guidance.
The Trump administration says it will speed cleanups, but residents of the largest residential lead Superfund site worry fewer properties will be remediated.

Remarkable how much of the anti-trans panic is just weaponized malignant narcissism from controlling parents.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

someone should research why boomers clung to youth and demanded cultural hegemony well into their 60s while millennials went to pure "we are old and going to die soon and our zeitgeist expired years ago" mode before hitting 40

Just reconnected with my niece on Instagram. Haven't spoken to in 15 years after I disowned my family. Niece and nephews weren't the problem. Sis and parents were. And apparently my sis has become... a worse person. Not surprised.

Couple of things here:

1. Trump says he took another cognitive test recently

2. In front of "large numbers of doctors and experts"

3. He called the examinations "long...and very boring"

4. If you're given 3 cognitive exams in one year by panels of doctors, something is VERY wrong with you

Fun fact: one of the ways Putin and those influenced by him have attacked LGBTQ+ orgs is to accuse them of being foreign agents whether or not they actually are. The plan might be to say that all the major groups are backed by the CCP and arrest and detain members for long periods without trial.
This sounds like it's an ICE op to-be.
