Her stitch pattern collections have been, and will continue to be, the building blocks that creative knitters turn into an infinite wealth of designs. She is our Linnaeus and our Diderot.

Weaving and crafts community: we have a loom that needs saving. It's beautiful and looks to be in great shape.

Please share to all Irish crafts people.

Small screw from my new press fell into the carpet and disappeared.
Twenty minutes of searching and I find it with my foot.

Ow. But also yay!

Spent an enjoyable afternoon at imma.ie with @deannawol.bsky.social . I do wish they sold any kind of history of the building book but that was a minor complaint

Surprisingly chill trip to Blanch. We even visited Waltons and didn't spend a fortune.

Best Beloved and I have been working through some puzzle/riddle advent calendar. One fairly straight forward and one more convoluted.
Today is the first day that we have needed no hints and solved both in about twenty minutes, twelve minutes of which was fishing them out to start.

Best Beloved has been consulted about the singular towel that came out of the washing machine looking like it lost an anime sword fight.
Conclusion, knife gremlins.

Today is the day to repost this meme about International Men's Day, one of the most unironically wholesome memes that has ever been made.

Never used it, hope never to have to use it.
Hands up if you've never used Chat GPT ✋

(I feel like Dozer and Tank in The Matrix right now - at first I didn't use it because, rather ironically, I'm lazy and stubborn (peak Taurus energy there) - literally no, don't make me use the new thing I don't wanna. Now I'm glad I didn't 😅)
Probably a good way to tell right now if the job you’re applying for is run by absolute dumbfucks is to ask if they’re using AI.

I really need to stop putting on Youtube videos of art techniques I don't do when I'm working on things.

I don't need to learn brush painting! I don't!

Okay, having watched one episode of 'Game of Wool' and being a regular watcher of 'Great British Sewing Bee' (which GoW is clearly copying some beats from).

The contestants were lovely. I would have liked more focus on them.

The chunky yarn was a definite problem.
