The fact that it SHOWS you is extremely cool too. The map between stages makes sense and you can feel it. It's such a neat little game.
The full map to the original Castlevania. This is a brilliant map. Despite seeing a map in between stages, you don't really think about how it all connects, but the flow lines up almost perfectly making one cohesive castle.

Fighting Games designed by fighting game players have their own set of issues. Honestly, Max here makes a good point.
I personally believe there is such a thing as "over designing" a game, and it has creeped up on me in the past few years.

Kind of crazy how, I think, this is the first time I've ever seen this said. So many people think you have to just have to, like, be okay with every form of art that could possibly exist out there in order to be truly anti-censorship which never has and never will be the case.
just in case anyone hasnt said this you can be against censorship while also having boundaries. all those people that make you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to not want to be around them but you should still advocate for their right to create those things that make you uncomfortable.

Fighting games don't really struggle, its just that the industry has decided that normal multiplayer games can't exist, they all have to be infinite money generators, and fighting games are just a bad fit
