There appears to be no reporting whatsoever in the MSM on the fact that NHS waiting lists are the lowest in three years thanks to the govt focusing on the most impoverished areas of the UK.
Waiting lists cut three times faster in highest joblessness areas
Waiting lists in 20 areas in England fall three times faster than the national average thanks to experts deployed by government to help supercharge NHS care.

Just what did our Labour government do in 2025?

Quite a lot, it seems...

My 7yo son is an inveterate bookworm. So much so that that pals regularly ask me for reading recommendations that might get their kids - especially boys - reading too.

So this week, I turn the reins of my column over to him so he can give you his BOOKS OF THE YEAR.

From my first catechism lesson in 1960, i believed that God loved all of us. Many confused moments later, i can say that this new pope is bringing the same clarity back. It is that simple. No one here gets to change that rule. Wealth and power has earthly limitations. Sorry.

in the year 2025
was the addition of
POPE LEO XIV
to the World Stage.

Pope Leo is not afraid to speak against the genocide in Gaza, and to call for an end to the war in Ukraine.

Pope Leo calls out cruelty against immigrants.

Thank you, and

It can't happen soon enough, we must #RejoinEU now!
Just a gif of the EU flag projected onto the London Eye as part of Mayor Sadiq Khan's London's New Year's Day fireworks 😀

The UK is £90 billion a year poorer because of Brexit i.e. tax rises and spending cuts, it's absurd

One day soon the madness will end and the UK will #RejoinEU ☺️

Law’s journey into Green politics reminds me of my own, 12 years ago, when I was looking for some kindness & campaigning/NHS support - the Labour Party was treating me like I should shut up & stick to making sandwiches, the Greens were a) kind & b) had me speaking in front of 400 people within weeks
“This movement gave me belief in myself that I didn’t know I had.”

A reminder that 90% of Ireland's so-called 'forests' are industrial plantations, virtually empty of nature.

It doesn't have to be like this: with a bit of thought, we could satisfy our timber needs AND have huge tracts of natural forest ecosystems, bursting with life.

So, you ask, if they can’t just do a simple thing like release the files as the law requires, how can we trust them to do hard things like run the economy and keep us safe?

The answer, of course, is that we can’t. We can never trust they can and will do the right thing.
Lawless shambolic shitshow.
