My dad died, I was clinically depressed for nearly a decade. I fucked up my degree & somehow fell into information technology. Mostly through diligently working my way up. I'm bright & tech isn't difficult, don't let anyone tell you tech is difficult.

Watching the Arnie version of the Running Man. It's pretty interesting watching this now. The Hunger Games films clearly take a lot of cues from this. Also, how closely the US is like this now.

Why are there posts from accounts I don't follow, that haven't been reposted, in my Following feed?

I wish I hadn't read this. Made me feel completely sad. Profiting off the insecurity of parenthood.

I'm very sad now

For reasons various I have just gone down the internet black hole looking at a Jingstax back for RB cameras. Pretty cool idea. It's an adapted SQ40

It's maybe too niche but I can't find any examples images taken with it.

I know exactly what these parents are like. If you're a parent you will also know. You meet them every day & in those 'private' WhatsApp groups you're forced into they're always the worst parents.

This is also my direct experience. Including the way people are using LLMs to write FOI & SARs. The LLM doesn't understand & crucially neither does the human. This is sandbagging us & others who work in data.
Bellingcat’s contact email has always been a magnet for people with fairly unusual views; paranoid delusions, sprawling conspiracies, the works. But recently, the pattern has shifted, we’re seeing more and more emails clearly written with ChatGPT.
