Well if you out it like that…
Pediatricians say vaccines do not cause autism. A bear-eating heroin addict who fantasizes about sucking his own semen out of his lovers' orifices says they do. For busy parents, it can be hard to know who to trust.

This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

No, America's rising anti-Semitism is not an online illusion created by foreign-run social media accounts on X. I wrote about how this comforting fiction is contradicted by real world events and survey data. Foreigners can fan the flames, but they didn't start the fire. We did. Gift link:

Was the turkey seen at the Capitol on 1/6?
The good news: the president has pardoned the turkey.

The bad news: two hours later the turkey was arrested for running a ponzi scheme and committing acts of gross sexual imposition.

Upset that guns overtook cars as the number one killer of children in America, the GOP sat down and asked themselves, what can we do?
Exclusive: Republicans plan to challenge vehicle-safety mandates, such as automatic emergency braking and alarms that remind drivers a child is in the back seat.

This Day in Labor History: November 25, 1865. Mississippi created the first of the Black Codes. Designed to recreate slavery in all but name, this signified the South’s resistance to the freeing of their labor force and the lengths to which it would go to tie workers to a place under white control.

Great thread and a good historic lesson on how vital the freedom of movement is, which highlights how much concern we should have with a national surveillance system that flags “suspicious” travel patterns.

"It’s better to stop Trump’s illegal orders than hope troops will disobey them."

Must-read here by @willbunch.bsky.social

And as any vet will tell you, he's spot on. There are way too many movies in people's heads where this issue is concerned.
In 1968, a soldier named Hugh Thompson defied orders to save Vietnamese lives during the My Lai massacre. Eventually seen as a hero, in real time he was vilified and nearly court-martialed

It's Congress' job to stop Trump's war crimes, not the troops. My new column www.inquirer.com/columnists/a...

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?
