Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.

And it's important bc while scrolling social media pushes the happy button, it rarely provides actual happiness. It's like food with no nutrients; your brain ate a lot but it's still starving for things that scrolling can't give.

As a mother to a 15yo autistic boy, a very serious FUCK YOU!!! This family worked hard for YEARS to create inner safety for that kid, which the US govt just destroyed for the foreseeable future- maybe forever. The windows we find are precious. They just trauma-closed so many of his paths in. Evil.
A mother and her 15 year old autistic son are reunited after nearly 50 days apart.
Emmanuel Garcia went missing, and rather than check missing person’s reports, Houston PD called ICE.
ICE sent him to the Office of Refugee Resettlement and his mom has been fighting to get him back ever since.
