The new trakt update seems to now be redirecting trakt dot tv to the default "new experience" instead of the old dashboard and the complete destruction of the web continues. The maintainers refuse to take feedback, refuse to make improvements, have raised prices, and imposed limits on free users

I'd only used slack for most of my software engineering career and I'd always heard horror stories about Teams. Naively I thought "how bad could Teams really be". I now report as a user of Teams that it is a vile, barely functional piece of complete shit

I don't talk about it much but every year when JADSEYA comes around I appreciate being a small part of this community so goddamn much. This was one of the best years for streams and I LOVED watching/reading Umineko. Also got me into VNs which has been a highlight of the year

First time I'm playing JEdi Survivor after enjoying Fallen Order quite a bit. One thing I genuinely don't understand is why these games feel so jank like they're held together by duct tape. It's largely running at a smooth 60 for me after capping it and it still feels like it's choking and gasping

God I know people find this site slightly annoying or whatever but this is the pinnacle of social media to me. This whole feed is running on someone's CPU serving thousands of users in a decentralised manner. Absolutely lovely. Thank you space cowboy
The For You feed is going to be down while I'm upgrading the CPU from AMD 7900 (12 core) to AMD 9950X3D (16 core).
This should increase how many users it can serve by ~50%-100%.
If all goes well it should be back up in an hour or two.

Played The Silver Case. Really liked the aesthetics and style but the narrative was a mess and a severe let down as was the brief smattering of "gameplay". Very rough product of the times and very weird but still captivating because of how stylish it is

Finished The Séance of Blake Manor. Pretty good open world adventure mystery thriller that's pulling some inspirations from Obra Dinn and Paradise Killer in terms of sleuthing. Steeped in Irish folklore and myth with a huge cast of reasonably compelling characters that nails the ending

Finished Indika. An absurdist black comedy game with some light puzzle elements that's mostly about the conflict of a girl and her struggles with herself. Very cinematic, very compelling, very short. The light puzzle elements sometimes got in the way of the story which was a shame
