It's our last episode! We're so grateful to everyone who's listened to us for the past 7 years.

We're using this occasion to talk about the state of science fiction and fantasy in the 21st century — and what has shaped the stories we've loved.

Not much to say today, except it's raining today. Again. Thunder has already started off in the distance.

In South Africa as well, please!
My carefully considered, nuanced and balanced policy view is that we should tax gambling profits, including sports betting, at like 98% and one executive's kidney per quarter.

I'm not sure having every UK mainstreet be three quarters Ladbrokes is good, actually.

Still the best Star Wars podcast around. Curious to see what's next for AMCA.
And just like that, we have reached the end of KOTOR II. Enjoy us discussing one of the most famously rushed (in both production and outcome) endings in video games!

You know you're doing something good for yourself when you stop and take a photo to capture the moment. In this particular case, coming home with groceries by bike in the middle of winter.

I think the left needs to start coming up with its own online seminars and courses that anyone can join. If Jordan Peterson and Richard Spencer have them, so should we. We can't rely on the academy anymore.

The article is good read. Some historical changes mostly for the worst, but also digs into some positives too. Good seeing people over 60 driving these public discussions. Something we lack here. www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...

Maybe among those who are fortunate enough to earn something. I very much doubt that the unemployed don't save because of their consumerism. I'm so sick of this messaging. It's tone deaf (and that's putting it politely) in a country with rampant unemployment.
