This shit is so absurd that I can feel my brain just dismissing it. But that's how we ended up with Trump - we just dismissed the US' absurdities until they hit us in the face.

The right spent years dunking on the left for wanting “participation trophies,” but they bow down to a grown ass man who needs everyone to pretend he’s won 38 consecutive trophies at the golf course he owns.
It’s weird that news organizations like the BBC are covering this as if it’s a real thing with a real process behind it—and not clearly some nakedly invented “participation trophy” by a corrupt organization to curry favor with a corrupt and easily manipulated man-child. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

After all, who wouldn't want desert after after a starter of tuna and a main course of salmon pâté? 🙈 (yes, there is kibble available all day, too)

25 hours a day, even!!
VARNEY: Do you work 18 hours a day?

MIKE JOHNSON: More. More. And I have to, because President Trump works 21 hours a day.

Does anyone know of any other examples of where a video synchs perfectly to other audio, like the This Is America video clip set to Call Me Maybe?

Yolo often stands with his little back toes crossed, which I find ridiculously cute!
You can see vultures don't have bulky feet and talons built for grasping/carrying like other raptors. Their more chicken-like feet are meant for bracing on food to pull at it with their powerful beaks, instead.

South Africans love to moan about our government, but this little document cost me no more than two hours in *total* (including half an hour of complaining about the online application system being down, instead of just trying again the next day). Super efficient!

This is actually quite a nuanced investigation that is worth a read.
Heard the one about how dozens of researchers assigned $144,000 worth of real world human tasks to the world’s “smartest” AIs to manage and…

They fucked up so monumentally that they were able to generate $1700 between them
