Another political norm bites the dust. #Gallup spokesperson didn’t give a straight answer to the question about pressure from the White House. Trump’s Gallup approval rating (at 37%) as of December 2025 was among the lowest the organization had found since it began taking the poll in the 1930s.

This is so embarrassing.

The cartel drones Pam Bondi was sounding the alarm about during the hearing turned out to be… party balloons.

This administration is so incompetent.

Of course it's going to the top. We've been living in an oligarchy for much longer than most of us noticed.
Innovation under capitalism has one goal: lower labor costs to raise corporate profits. We are more productive than ever, but the owners are pocketing the difference.

Removing Maduro was just the first step. Now, US oil companies are angling for a total restructure of the Venezuelan state to ensure that human rights and labor laws never get in the way of extraction. This is what modern-day colonialism looks like.

What Oil Executives Really Want From Venezuela
After meeting with Trump, U.S. oil executives made clear that investment hinges not on market conditions, but on legal and political reforms designed to protect foreign capital.

The New York Times just launched a new "newsletter about the law and the courts." They are calling it "The Docket."

The Times may not care that Democracy Docket has been publishing "On the Docket" and "Daily Docket" for years, but I believe our 400,000 subscribers might.

More on this tomorrow.

It's not a new observation at this point but that wild Noem/Lewandowski story in WSJ really brings home the extent to which all the Trump 2 cabinet-level goblins see their jobs as flying private, doing short-form video, and screaming at underlings. They all hate each other and none of them can read.

Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.
