The summary is that they are trying to criminalize every aspect of homelessness so they can arrest & forcibly commit unhoused people. Currently(/before), there are not enough mental health & substance use treatment beds/facilities, and this does not add anything, which only leaves imprisoning people

Taking a pregnant person off of their SSRI while pregnant and postpartum sounds like a safety nightmare, actually. Plenty of people *without* psychiatric history develop postpartum depression and psychosis. That isn’t conducive to life, much less caring for an infant.

Just finished the Plum Village course on collective grief/climate breakdown & looking forward to the longer one this winter. Having climate scientists present was powerful. If anyones interested there’s a scholarship. Really nice to share a space with hundreds of other people like this. ❤️🔥
