Too economist to be a historian. Too historian to be an economist.
My expressed ideas here are usually the slaves of some defunct economist, and my employer is alive and not an economist.
Missing home, wherever that is.

As suspected, it’s Utah
This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Cannot adequately express to outsiders how insane it is to think the UK is characterised by "Islamoleftism". Just, absolutely, not a thing, not at all representative of our governing ideology, nor of the ideology of the left factions that exist as any serious presence within our politics.

Entire, annoying day fighting against a (long) code that was not doing what it should.

Around 11 pm, I discovered the issue was one (1) missing “s.”
After running everything, the result was a spectacular NOTHING FOUND.
