The crazy thing about parenting is that in theory you want the kid to be happy, but in practice 97% of what you're doing is making the kid miserable.
I can't think of another activity where the day-to-day implementation is so at odds with the long-term goal.

Bovino’s retirement needs to be a cage. His command environment yielded Renee Good’s death, Alex Pretti’s death & Julio Sosa-Celis’ shooting. Failure to prosecute Bovino & everyone else materially responsible for these atrocities will be understood by ICE, CBP, etc as a green light for the next ones

Yes, immigration agents not only took Arnoldo's phone, the 10th grader had to use Find My Phone to locate it — in a vending machine for used electronics, close to an ICE detention center.

If his only constraint is his own morality, he doesn’t believe in the rule of law (since law is precisely a constraint beyond ones’s own morality), which means his supporters can’t really get too far by invoking the prerogatives of law enforcement.
