1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.

This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

BBC Now Calling Trans Women 'Biological Males Who Identify As Women'
These stories come in the aftermath of allegations that a small but mighty cabal of “LGBT reporters” had somehow seized control of the BBC and “censored” right-wing views.

When the NEA asked us to promise not to publish trans, nonbinary, or gender fluid authors, we told them to kick rocks. (Actually, formally, with a unanimous vote by the Board of Directors, we told them to kick rocks.) So the NEA rescinded our funding.

Some people, like @kirstimiller30.bsky.social sometimes need a reminder that just because people disagree with you, doesn't mean that they hate you, it just means that your opinion is not agreed with.

Especially when it amounts to giving into narrative that sometimes it's ok to discriminate.

Trans rights are human rights.

Holding space so everyone can live their truth seems even more important than usual these days.

We made these pieces as holiday gifts for family — and a few more for anyone who’d like to pass that care along.

Without Green Party campaigning it would still be there.

I did this as part of uni, made sure to sit at both magistrate's and crown's court. The way magistrate operated for most cases made me think that "The People's Court" would be a more fair way for people to get just outcome than this.
It remains my recommendation for anyone with even a passing interest in the law or the criminal justice system to spend a couple of days sat in your local magistrates court and watch what goes on. I would be surprised if it didn't affect your views.

Okay that was a hilarious read, the angry transphobes really have no breaks in their elimination of trans people, demanding that the entire code will be revoked, handling maaaaaaaany issues non trans related, because the transphobia is not strong enough yet.

Everything must go while trannies live.
Sex Matters are crashing out, because the impudent little people won't immediately drop everything and do what they say.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.

The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

Terminal Therapy Tuesday.

As my therapist is leaving for extended maternity, possibly one for good, it's the last time we sat and talked. Two years almost do the dot, week by week sans some singular drop outs of work, which also included many clashes between us.

Was great working with you!

Calling for + perpetrating violence against and harassment of trans people, has legal precedent now.

Gender indentity is no longer a protected characteristic in law, if anti-trans activists can legally go out of their way to attack someone based, purely on their being trans.

The rush to ban puberty blockers for trans kids is so that having gone through an inappropriate puberty, they look “trans” for the rest of their lives. So they are easily identifiable.

In order words: "Sex is so obvious we are now used to being constantly challenged for not looking the part and happily suck it up".
The LGBTQ community has been saying that targeting trans people will disproportionately affect cis women for FUCKING YEARS. And it does. LGBAliiance treat them like their abuse is acceptable collateral damage to their prejudicial grift crusade.

The trail will involve 220 children.

Meanwhile 3000 another children seeking health care for their gender dysphoria will be placed on an ‘observational’ study.

The old ‘watch and wait’ is how Alice was treated. Although this time there might be someone actually watching, this is not health care.🧵
Puberty Blocker clinical trials to begin
on the NHS

- The trial will involve around 220 children under 16
- Young people will “undergo intensive medical and psychological screening”, including Gillick competency evaluation
- Trial: Group 1 will get PBs straight away vs Group 2, 12 months later
New puberty blockers clinical trial to begin after UK ban - BBC News
