Jeopardy! loser. Buckeye. Sad Dad Music Tour. Guards. Blue Jackets/Browns victim (I still love you, baby, and I’m sorry!)
The game is likely to be terrible, but the weather is ok (great for late November), tickets can be had for under $50, it’s the last chance to see Sonny, Arvell, Caleb, IGB in the Shoe and I’ll be sure to miss it come February.

Local niche observation: the St Elmo’s cherry vanilla bourbon goes pret good in a Dr. Pepper.

You may or may not get where you expect and have paid $600 to get to without a overnight stay in a sketchy Super 8 or a sleep slouched in a terminal chair.

Please wear top hat and mourning coat; kid gloves optional, but recommended.
I’d like to see data on the seat and row dimensions of airplanes back when everyone wore suits and skirts.
The Department of Transportation launched a new campaign to “restore courtesy and class to air travel” as the number of cases involving disruptive passengers remains higher than 2019. The video mentions passenger clothing and thanking flight attendants. https://wapo.st/4pmeglO

The “I use AI technology to identify the highlights “ ad is pretty funny. Does the AI just look at the score bug and note when it changes or posts a booking? Miraculous…

Actually found a 4th grade report “card” in a box my mom sent over. It was actually an enormous multi-fold sheet, I went to an informal magnet school.

Anyway, there was a legit comment that said: “319 often laughs to himself. When asked to explain, he declines.”

Mrs. 319 nodded: “That checks.”
Teacher remarks on my 4th grade report card:
It is too early to be this dark.

‘Bourne to Run’
they should have called the films Chasin' Bourne. because that's all they seem to do

I would’ve paid to see the 4 episode run of an ‘Odd Couple’ style roommate comedy with Matt LeBlanc and Joey Lawrence.

“How you doin’?”

“Whoa!”
Becoming increasingly adamant and agitated as I go on a weird posting spree declaring that they released those eight unaired episodes of JOEY (2004-2006) "as a distraction"

Not rooting for her opponent, but I hope his yard signs read “BISS, PLEASE!”

The facing article, though, is "But what about Yale Law School?"
"Hi, honey, the new Harvard alumni magazine just arrived. The good news is you're on the cover!"

"Oh, cool! What's the bad news?

"Um ... you're on the cover."

And I think this is what's going to happen to avoid Title IX concerns as well as equity with non-rev sports. It'll be paired with the CFB Superconference. Not sure how they get there without collusion and antitrust complaints.
PE money *might* be useful if they elect to spin football off the university itself, operating it as a private venture with licensing and facilities relationship to the schools and contracts with players, but that's not something that's likely to happen on an individual school or conference basis.
I don't understand the business case for PE/VC in college sports. The "value" of PE is either in levering assets, separating and spinning off functions/units/assets to maximize discrete values, or providing working capital for ventures that are not yet mature/profitable/income generating.

Did something just happen on here? My TL just appeared to go wildly achronic--seeing posts from follows from 15 h ago without reposts, then "17 s ago."

And from little I've seen of him on TV, he's not ready for the camera.
Primary candidates need to support DC statehood. Anything less is unacceptable. Also, we don’t need anymore Kennedy’s! 👇
By the by, I learned this recently, lest anyone be tempted by @jackschlossberg.bsky.social’s candidacy.

Indiana’s current federal delegation is absolutely *not* representative of the populace.
I’m not sure what grander trends to draw from this, but claiming Indiana GOP is not on board for anti-democratic measures is *way* too much credit.
Many state GOPs are signaling that they are not on board Trump's autocratic project -- a great piece of data for those of us worried about the survival of American democracy.

The Indiana State Senate rejected President Donald Trump’s call for a special session to redraw the state’s congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterms. The move preserves Indiana’s current map and represents yet another rebuke of Trump’s national gerrymander push.

Not even a question that #20 Tennessee’s best win is losing to UGA in OT.
Is #22 Mizzou’s best win against 5-6 Clanga or 4-6 Auburn?
