Have you seen our compelling new short film? 'An Uninsurable Future?' shines a spotlight on the growing #insurance crisis already impacting people around the world. Watch now 👇

An uninsurable world isn’t a future idea. Climate risks are rising so fast that insurers are pulling back, leaving some regions nearly impossible to cover.

Thank you @CHinchliffMP for your stand on #Fingleton 🙏

You think mistakenly.

Whatevs. I was responding to you attacking Bill for allegedly having contradicted himself!

Absolutely right. Those with eyes to see the Truth of Our Predicament are called to spread that bad news to any with ears to hear.

As our material world collapses the spiritual world will expand. If we don't fill the void in the narrative of why, some charlatan will.

Thanks bill!

Do sign, and share widely.

If we are to survive what is coming, let alone to flourish, then we desperately need the kind of strategic adaptation that false optimism leaves unfunded or even sneered at.

Bill wouldn’t deny that I (for instance) am a non-climate scientist who really DOES understand what is coming.
False optimism is, as Bill says, incredibly dangerous. It stops us for instance taking climate adaptation sufficiently seriously. Solnit, Figueres et al share real responsibility for this.

Erm, Bill didn’t say that non-climate-scientists should shut up about the climate. He said that “when non-climate scientists write about the climate crisis >without really understanding where we are or where we are headed<“ then we are in trouble.

I said to my soul, be still and wait without hope, for hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love, for love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith, but the faith and the love are all in the waiting.”

Trump says Europe is useless, weak and dying.

But the Old World is quietly doing a much better job of building a liveable tomorrow than the USA.

Just ask Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal.

It's hard to stop using AI, especially while everyone else seems to be making use of it, but there are bigger issues at play.

Ludicrous to have more LD peers, and NO Green (or Reform) peers.
There are 25 times as many LD Lords as Green and Reform combined!
Yet LDs trail in the polls. (..As do Lab!)
“No10 publishes list of 34 new political peerages including 25 Labour, 5 LibDems.”
This new set of peerages is so out of date.

Will this terrible storm being the governments of the world closer to their humanity, pressuring the inhuman Israeli blockade of #Gaza?

"Heavy rain overnight has flooded tents in Gaza leaving families without shelter"

Israel is still preventing aid organisations from taking tents and shelters into Gaza.
