Knowing the backstory to the title of this arc makes me respect Scott more than I already did, and makes me wanna sell 1000 copies of this book.

The tariffs are going to have an impact on the comic industry, not just in production & printing, but most significantly on your local comic shop when there’s a decline in purchasing non-essential goods. Let’s not cut back or cut off the communities comic shops provide. It’s an essential service!

Between fragmented distribution (at least three times the work to achieve the same minimum result) and now fears of personal uncertainty among customers, comic shops are working themselves like never before.
BUT the comic shop is STILL an unparalleled source for creativity, escapism, & community!
