Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe 4 has the Hulk take it to Godzilla on equal footing in a brutal battle. For a time. But good ol' @gerryduggan.bsky.social, Paco Medina, & Javier Garron really delivered the goods with T'Challa's plan. I didn't see that coming, but I did love it when I saw it.

Not knowing TMNT well, I don't have a good handle on comics Shredder or IDW comics Shredder, but this new @danpgwatters.bsky.social mini series is well told. Easy for new readers to learn Shredder is beyond serious business. He does the bidding of his handlers because it suits him. But for how long?

Fantastic Four x Gargoyles jumps around a lot, but if you love Gargoyles then you'll have so much fun with this. You'll hear the characters speak in the actor's voices & will really want to see this animated. Show creator Weisman writes it & does the right things for both properties.

Age of Revelation Rogue Storm 1 was awesome. 10 years from now Storm has turned & her vast powers are destroying Earth. Rogue leads a new X-force to unfortunately neutralize her friend. This was outstanding. Action packed. Rogue's condition was a well kept surprise too! Definitely see about this!

Age of Revelation is an event taking place 10 years from & replaces series for a couple months. X-men becomes Amazing X-men, Laura Wolverine becomes Laura Sabretooth, etc. The @ayodelemurewa.bsky.social Storm series becomes Rogue Storm by Murewa. Please pick it up because it IS the Storm series.

Meanwhile in the spirit of Halloween, I submit this scene from Poltergeist II. This is in my top 50 movie scenes. I love the way its shot, lit, acted. No notes. Poor Julian Beck was dying here but delivered an unforgettable performance, and frankly look, that stuck with me since I was a kid. Enjoy.

Endeavour's solicitation sounded thin. Something happens on a replica of the famous vessel during a tourist experience leaving only the children. But this was SO well written. Deep characterization fast. Maybe Stephanie Phillips' best. I was truly impressed & didn't want the inevitable shoe to drop.

There's no day of the week like New Comic Book Day. How lucky we are to have a day like that. New people learning when new comics come out is such a great thing to observe happen. They get to see the most variety, see what other people are getting, and be a part of a day unlike any other.

Ralph is one the best of our comics retailer community. A great person & Alternate Reality in Vegas is a great shop. So disturbing that this has happened. I'm glad that he and everyone are ok. To do this to any business, especially a beloved third place micro business, is such a horrible choice.

This is a horrible way to start the business day. At 6:36am this morning 4 or 5 guys (wearing masks) in a blue and white car busted into Alternate Reality Comics (photo of the car from House of Cars’ camera should be coming to me later today). $500 in theft items.
