Where's the premier while MLAs rush through an all-night debate on stripping Albertans of their Charter rights?

An airport lounge, waiting for a flight to Saudi Arabia. She didn't even bother to show up for the vote.

I remember when conservatives turfed premiers for this level of hubris.
We need to send the UCP a very clear message. It’s gone way too far.
Let's be clear about what happened today.

Premier Smith introduced a bill to strip Albertans of Charter rights,

denied MLAs the opportunity to debate it and the courts the ability to scrutinize it,

and did all of this from her seat on a jet to Saudi Arabia.
The UCP government has invoked time allocation and on a bill removing Albertans' Charter rights.

And they're using the notwithstanding clause to do it.

Here's why that is a dangerous precedent. And why real conservatives need to stand up against it.

Alberta Strong and Free, Notwithstanding
The UCP's Bill 2 skirts the legislature and the courts, leaving it up to the public to push back swiftly

Calgary Bow voters, do your thing…
Can you ...recall.. a worse Minister of Education?

Not that ... we can .. recall.
Max gained no advantage. Left in 4th, returned to 4th. See how easy that is?
Russell ALWAYS has a lot to say lol. And most of it is whining…

Bravo. We have to stand up to this lunatic. She hates workers - it is evident in every decision that is made. Her goal is simple. Wealth transfer from those with the least money and power to those with the most.
It was never about helping Albertans…
Weird thing is every physician I’ve been talking are shaking their heads and wondering who could possibly be advising this…

It is so poorly thought out and so obviously going to be disastrous…
The speed of this HC privatization push is stomach-churning. Imagine being a healthcare professional watching this disaster unfold, and every single day brings a new plan to make things even worse. Unacceptable. #ABleg #ABpoli

>Carney doing his level best to be diplomatic as he negotiates with a sociopath.

>Doug Ford comes in like a wrecking ball.

>Jason K. Sticks his nose in (planning a run for CPC leadership JK?)

I imagine Marlaina sucking up to the orange king/no king is soon to follow…

What a time to be alive 😫
Not often do I agree with Brundle, but here I do. Oscar’s steering input to the left was sudden and severe. That soon after the start he should have expected cars to be on the line that he veered towards. I’m an Oscar fan, but that one’s on him.
They must think Albertans have short memories.

*based on election results, theyβ€˜re not wrong πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
In which the Premier's right-hand man blames both immigrants and the federal government for the strains and stresses in the education system his government is supposed to run.

Hey, remember the "Alberta is Calling" campaign? The one that brought many thousands of people to Alberta? I sure do.

Coal royalties in 2024/25 were $15.5 million. The government has now paid out more than $200 million in claims to Australian mining companies for bungling this file.
Another Australian coal company has announced that it has reached a settlement ($95 million)with the GoA over its compensation claims due to Alberta's coal policy flip flops.
Once again this info comes to AB taxpayers from the company website.
No disclosure from the GoA.

I believe it has to be less than 0.5% difference for him to request a recount, and it is around 4% the way I figure so I don’t think he can..please correct me if I’m wrong! πŸ™‚
Bring it. I’m totally here for it 😁
Missing A few key frames just prior…
