The crisis in our hospitals continues to grow &doctors are speaking out, sharing stories of near misses & lost lives due to overcrowding.

And they’re very clear about the cause - the failure of the UCP to properly fund healthcare or invest in the resources needed by a growing population. #abpoli

We are now learning of even more patients who have died waiting for care. Yet the UCP still refuses to take responsibility or acknowledge the crisis.

Albertans deserve better.

Our lives depend on it. /1

We need a government that prioritizes making life more affordable.

Alberta's New Democrats proposed real solutions, such as tackling shrinkflation at the grocery store, capping auto insurance rate increases, and increasing the minimum wage.

The UCP voted NO to every. single. one.

Danielle Smith is entirely responsible for allowing this separatist rhetoric to continue. It’s also a distraction from the real issues facing Alberta right now, like the health care crisis in our hospitals and emergency rooms.

You deserve better. For Alberta and for Canada.

A question I keep hearing from folks across Canada is pretty simple: “What the heck is going on in Alberta?” It’s a fair question, given all the headlines lately.

Separatism is a real threat, and it’s time for Canada, politicians and citizens alike, to act.

Yesterday, it was announced that Alberta hospitals are at 102% capacity.

Doctors, patients, and families are sounding the alarm, but the government won't admit there is a crisis or say who is in charge.

That is not a safe health care system. Albertans deserve so much better.

We've already been saying this for months: Alberta’s hospitals and emergency rooms are in crisis.

Doctors and patients have been sounding the alarm. Danielle Smith and the UCP government must take urgent action to fix the health care chaos they have created.

The stories flooding my inbox are heartbreaking, but do keep sending in your concerns. ER doctors and patients from #BevClare are fed up—and for good reason. UCP cuts, corruption, and chaos have pushed our health-care system to the brink. Albertans need action now.

"We have a medical disaster on our hands and that's why we have people suffering and dying in waiting rooms meters from care.”

Albertans can’t get the care they need.

The UCP has no plan to help.

Smith and the UCP's four health ministers have been silent for too long. It's time to step up, take accountability and act.
