I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

Has anyone written about the difference between like "breadth of complexity vs depth of complexity"? I feel like Wanderhome/Yazeba's do a great job of rewarding both "if you sit down cold you'll be fine" and "if you spend 40 hours delving into the lore, I got your back."

This is my favorite type of lost media. No screenshots, nobody working on it ever did anything again, just a total mystery. Was it a promo for a talent agency? Bunch of weirdos just making a film for the fun of it? Who knows. There could be 100s of movies like this.

DOGE was not a money-saving effort. It was an effort to chase down and prove right-wing conspiracy theories. They went after USAID to prove conspiracy theories about foreign aid. Then they went after SSA to, again, pursue conspiracy theories about Dems paying "illegals" to vote. 1/2
All DOGE accomplished was purging critical government staff, handing private data to outsiders, and sentencing thousands in developing countries to death by gutting USAID.
I don’t say this lightly: if there were any justice in this world, the people responsible for this devastation would be in jail

I tend to think of PbtA moves less as abilities and more as recurring arenas of conflict/drama. So it's less "this is a neat thing I can do" and more "when I do the thing that I do, what's the most thematic and compelling framing?"
