As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

Things I wish I’d known before I was in my late 40s: when making hot cocoa from scratch, add a little hot water to the cocoa/sugar mixture and give it a quick stir before you put the milk in. No more endless stirring only to STILL have annoying little lumps of cocoa powder lurking at the end.

These samples were just printed on plain paper with a semi-broken inkjet but I am SO thrilled with how they look and am SO looking forward to hopefully getting my hardcopy proof this week. I went with extra heavy gloss cardstock and scattered holo coating on the front.
