Several roads across western WA reopened today. That's the good news.

But we're still seeing water & debris in multiple places and ongoing road closures.

The ground remains saturated in slide-prone areas.

Stay vigilant
Don't drive thru standing water
Obey road closed signs

Atmospheric river on the menu? We're ready!

Our crews work in advance of the storm. Today, that meant clearing a downed tree on SR 410, prepping chainsaws at the Kent shed & pumping water on SR 18.

Please slow down for our crews, they're working 24/7 to keep roads open.

Labu-BOO! Remember that the scariest thing on the road tonight should be a child dressed as a pop culture reference you’re too old to understand.

Be extra cautious driving today, and keep an eye out for trick-or-treaters. Happy Halloween!

There will be snow on SR 20 North Cascades Highway this weekend. Crews are prepared, are you? Tires, warm coat, full tank of gas, charged cell, headlights on and-most of all- driving for conditions. Slower is better than a spin out. On the road we're in it together.

Please plan ahead and be patient.
