If curious, we need it not be raining and it's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow night so doing it during the dry window tomorrow morning is our best chance and we're going to take it. We'll keep you updated on when work is complete!

Heads up!

Tomorrow morning (11/4) we'll have a single left lane on northbound I-5 just north of the SR 520 interchange closed from 9a-3p for emergency shoulder repairs.

📣 MAJOR UPDATE: Our contractor has adjusted this weekend’s closure schedule.

🚧 Westbound SR 520 + trail closed nightly:
• Fri 11 PM – Sat 8 AM
• Sat 11 PM – Sun noon
• Sun 11 PM – Mon 5 AM

Both reopen @ 8 AM Saturday for the UW football game.

For those curious - the lane closure is for crews working on future support columns for the new Roanoke lid in between EB and WB SR 520. The lane closure gives crews and drivers the space needed to complete the work safely.

Happening now: A single left lane on westbound SR 520 between Montlake and I-5 is closed for construction. Plan ahead for a bit of a slowdown through this section. All ramps remain open.

Work will continue daily this week between 11a-2p.
