US 97 Blewett Pass has reopened between the jct. of SR 970 (MP 149) and Ingalls Creek Rd (MP 177) as of 2PM today after crews cleared dozens of downed trees off the roadway today.
Still lots of work ahead, but we are thankful to the crews for this work. 👏 @wspd6pio

US 97 Blewett Pass has reopened between the jct. of SR 970 (MP 149) and Ingalls Creek Rd (MP 177) as of 2PM today after crews cleared dozens of downed trees off the roadway today.

US 2 Tumwater Canyon is closed due to water and debris over the roadway, meaning US 2 is now closed from Index (MP 35) over Stevens Pass to Leavenworth (MP 99).
SR 207 is also closed near Beaver Valley Rd. There is no estimated time to reopen.

Both US 97 Blewett Pass and US 2 Stevens Pass are closed for the night. If you must travel right now, the detour is SR 28 through Quincy and WSP is currently clearing an overturned semi near Crescent Bar (MP 20). Please drive for conditions. We're in this together.

US 97 has reopened north of Orondo as of 12:45PM, US 97A remains closed north of Knapps Tunnel. Travelers between Chelan and Wenatchee should use US 97. Chelan to Entiat travel can use SR 971. Use your headlights, drive for conditions, and please be patient and alert.

US 97 is closed in both directions at milepost 219, four miles north of Orondo, due to a collision. There is no detour available and no estimated time of reopening. Motorists traveling between Wenatchee and Chelan should use US 97A on the west side of the Columbia River.

That's a wrap! US 97 Blewett Pass has reopened as of 3:30PM today. The weather was perfect for the work and crews were able to remove dozens of burned trees and debris in burn scar areas. Thank you for your patience!

It's finally here: the seasonal closure of SR 20 North Cascades Highway is scheduled for Thurs. (12/4). Our crews will swing the gates closed at Ross Dam trailhead (MP 134) and Silver Star gate (MP 171) at 6PM. Please plan accordingly and we'll see you in the spring. @wspd6pio
