NOW CLOSED: The final 2.7 miles of SR 542/Mt. Baker Hwy, the road to Artist Point (MP 54), is CLOSED for winter as of 10:30AM., Wed., Oct. 15.

SR 542 remains open to up to the seasonal closure point. Winter recreationalists should still monitor conditions throughout the season.

It’s paving day for the roundabout at West Fakkema Road and SR 20 on Whidbey Island. SR 20 will be closed at this intersection today, Wed. 10/15, from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. The detour around the construction area uses Goldie Road and Ault Field Road.

Our maintenance crews have some overnight work TONIGHT (10/14):
From 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14-3 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, crews will close the left lane of SB I-5 in Mount Vernon between College Way (MP 227) and Anderson Road (MP 225) for road surface repairs.

Westbound and eastbound SR 20 on Whidbey Island will close at West Fakkema Road from 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. The intersection will be open for three hours and then close from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 15 for paving.

EB SR 18 CLOSURE TONIGHT
We'll close EB SR 18 the next 2 nights for pavement repairs in #Auburn.

- When: 10p to 4a nightly Mon (10/13) to Wed AM (10/15)

- NB & SB SR 167 ramps to EB SR 18 also will close

Hey night owls: NB and SB I-5 will have overnight lane closures this week between Portal Way (MP 263) and Grandview (MP 265) in support of the SB I-5 Nooksack to Blaine paving project. Crews will use this closure to repair cable barriers. Plan ahead for delays!
