They took my console away when the reports about D&D came out. Video games weren’t allowed. We could play solitaire or hearts on the cpu, but my games, which at that time were Sega and Nintendo weren’t allowed. I had a neg view about something I enjoyed doing for the longest. Smh

I went down a rabbit hole when I heard of these places. It’s terrible. Stuff nightmares are made out of. I wouldn’t have survived, I don’t think. However, so many people did and we wonder why we are broken as a country, as a species.

My dad threatened me with it. They sucked as parents and ignored the teachers’ recommendations to get me tested for the spectrum. So, I was a handful. I can’t imagine being ripped from the bed and taken away. That terrifies me. Then the abuse while there. Ugh it makes me sad.

I didn’t know about the troubled teen industry until about 10yrs ago. It’s cruel and disgusting. He acted like he did favors and I just sat there scared to death.
