US Citizen, with a valid drivers license, is traumatized by ICE at a checkpoint if FL.

Her crime, per ICE — she didn’t roll down her window far enough.

All of this…because they couldn’t be bothered to check her ID.

What are we doing? Why are these gestapo tactics being allowed to continue?

Reminder about Jan 6:

it really happened
It was a horror
140+ police were injured
A range of violent weapons were used by attackers
Chants to hang Mike Pence were heard
There was a gallows and guns
Pipe bombs diverted police as mob approached

Duffy is an effing idiot.
Ummm… is that really the problem with America?

Not enough 1970’s-style station wagons?
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

The pardons Trump is handing out are a huge, growing scandal that not enough people are talking about. This is a money making operation - for for Trump, his family, his crypto pals, and the Trump-affiliated lobbyists and grifters who the pardon seekers pay.

This man ripped off teachers, nurses, small business owners - people from all walks of life and professions. Some lost their life savings. Not only did Trump let him out of prison, he also doesn’t have to pay back the victims.

❗️For days, russian troops have been pounding the Kherson CHP plant with drones, artillery, and various weapons — a purely civilian facility that kept the city warm.

The plant has stopped operating.

Over 40,000 people — 470 buildings — are now without heat.

If there weren't 834 other scandals, this would be scandal #1.

Selling out US security, our European allies and Ukraine for personal financial gain.

Witkoff and Kushner must be investigated, or, there must be hearings if Dems take back the House.

Trump said their impression was that Putin wants "to see the war ended," but it wasn't clear what progress had been made in the talks.

The granting of patents and trademarks to foods and words from the global south is part of a long colonial grab. It’s time to realise we share what we cook, and what we call it

Curious to see how the establishment can continue condoning this as doing politics "the right way."
