Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.

So, I'm watching Sally Wainwright's excellent Riot Women – and, astonishingly, Joanna Scanlan's character has a copy of my book Daunderlust. I'd LOVE to know how the heck that has come about.

Here's another clip to celebrate Cliff's 85th birthday. This one features him walking around Birmingham in his 1973 film Take Me High. Look out for brutalist landmarks like the Central Library (RIP), Alpha Tower and New Street Signal Box

The closest I've ever got to Brum is passing through it on the train, but having watched this I feel very much that every comedian I've ever heard talk about it has been lying to me. This looks lovely! And so clean!

Ey up! Chuck D just came up to our table and said hello and I replied “you alright Chuck” in my best Leeds accent without thinking. 😳🤦🏼‍♀️🫣.

Ever wondered where all the Cheers title photos are from? I did. And I've gathered everything I can find into this post. That was fun.

Always loved the batshit UK charts. And it's beautiful that crap such as kids' shit Blobby & tiny kids' shit like Teletubbies can be #1. All ages deserve chart 1s! When we were lads too, here in Oz we'd have things like ThereAin'tNoAgeForRock&Roll or TheDayWeWentToBangnor for grans. Variety for all.

Innit just?

I'm still kinda weirded out by them pronouncing the Scottishfastfoodrestaurant as "Meckdonalls". Shirley everyone here says it and hears it as "mAck" (hence our cultural Maccas), but apparently not this bloke, at least not on this day.

Jazz-Funk Fusion!

As Aus comedy act DAAS famously said back in the day - "Young people love jazz-funk fusion! Because it's not racist! It's not sexist! And it's not very good!"

Somehow, all these cunts were all always right. :)
