He's also responsible for raising all the money that paid for bringing Hollingsworth v. Perry & even more importantly Bostic v. Schaefer, which created the circuit split that forced SCOTUS to take on Obergefell v. Hodges. The role he played in American marriage equality cannot be overstated.
The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.

In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.
Trump’s Own Mortgages Match His Description of Mortgage Fraud, Records Reveal
The Trump administration has argued that Fed board member Lisa Cook may have committed mortgage fraud by declaring more than one primary residence on her loans. We found Trump once did the very thing ...

Brutal but effective public health messaging from New York Public Health.

The CDC is compromised. They’re no longer a reliable source of information.

They push anti-vaxx & anti-science grift.

Get your vaccines. Wear a respirator. Clean the air

Get public health advice from experts, not RFK Jr

He escaped to the US - then ICE detained him.

👎 Effectively told families in poverty “you’re on your own”
❌ Presided over the longest government shutdown in history

I remember finally understanding cultural appropriation when someone put it in terms of refilling as hip fashion accessory.

And I now viscerally understand microaggressions as exhausting in a way I had not.

As well as why filling a feed with horrible incidents is less nice than folk may think.

It's pretty scary, honestly, to watch how much a flat out blood libel performance art was cheered and by whom.

I find myself wondering just how few people know what blood libel is.

If you always simply assume that this Administration is going to choose whatever is least good for the public, you'll probably be right.
NEW: Sean Duffy frequently calls safety his “top priority” as transportation secretary. But I spent months wading through regulatory notices and found something far different: that USDOT has been delaying, weakening and killing dozens of safety rules, many opposed by the transportation industry.🧵

Folks have got to make some noise. Congress has the constitutional right to make or unmake agencies, not the executive branch.

And yet they're already talking about just exactly how they are dismantling the department of education.
Trump administration announces dismantling of parts of Education Dept.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order in March seeking to close the department, but only Congress has the power to do that.

* H.R. 5107 – CLEAN DC Act of 2025
