Capitalism means a system where private individuals own the means of production (like factories) and run them for profit. The people who own the factories are the capitalist class. It doesn’t mean “buying gum at a gas station”, you aren’t a capitalist because you bought gum.

I suspect in the case of the word "trade" the (possibly intentional) misunderstanding sometimes could stem from the desire to "gotcha" someone else by saying stuff like "and yet you engage in capitalism" whenever there's criticism against it, which.. yeah, all too common, as a pattern

imo this would be insane to do anywhere else. imagine you see an online shop entry for like, a pair of shoes, and someone writes a review of how they think this product sucks... why would anyone go and respond to that with "no, I think it's great, you're wrong"?

if someone says "group ___ sucks", then yes, fight them and give out your reasonings on why you disagree. an attack of identity sucks, & is crucial to dispel.

had a funny interaction today on one of my negative reviews on an old game from years ago where I realize another one, on top of like 4 people over the years, try to tell me "you just have skill issue" when I say "I didn't like the difficulty spike"

I enjoy my share of low-tier escapism-fantasy-media, but it's better to realize them as what they are

reminded of a story from a VN dev where some guy ranted to them in DMs about one of their yuri stories being "tainted" because a man exists in them lol... it's crazy

also look at this deck... really? I was under the impression that kitasan is meta, Spe & Flash are pretty good speed cards for late surgers and I use them, a friend told me I should use Manhattan Cafe because it's underrated and one of the best Stamina cards, and we all know Super Creek was meta..
