It is wild to me that the largest company on the stock market, one with such incredible prestige and a huge PR team got dog-walked here. Why would you EVER give this ANY oxygen? Now everybody is asking whether NVIDIA is like Enron! This didn't help at all!

I had a popular account with a valuable audience and my Twitter payout was $80 a month-ish, to the point where I disabled monetization instead of uploading my ID. Payouts are only material if you live in a developing country, so “guy in Nigeria posting right-wing Amerislop” has taken over the site.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.
My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

👀 Zohran Mamdani used some of his final remarks to encourage the role of the federal government in social welfare and basically pitch a new New Deal. He praised Trump’s inclusion of a portrait of FDR in the White House. Trump talks about how Mamdani asked for a photo in front of it when he arrived.

La condena del FGE a quien deja a los pies de los caballos es a toda la ciudadanía frente al Estado de Derecho, la necesidad de pruebas incriminatorias y la presunción de inocencia, a las que acaban de asestar un golpe letal. 50 años de democracia merecían algo más que dejar todo atado y bien atado.

Trump pide condenar a muerte a seis diputados demócratas por pedir a los soldados que no cumplan órdenes ilegales. Es decir, por pedirles que respeten la ley. Todo normal.
